How To Make A Baby Hat with Free Printable Pattern

Sew your own adorable baby hat with this simple sewing tutorial.

The free pattern makes it a breeze to cut out your fabric.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

STEP 1

Fold your fabric with right sides facing.

STEP 2

Place the Band pattern piece on the fold and pin in place. Place the Hat pattern piece with the bunny ears attached (now called the Baby Hat) to the right of the Band and pin or clip in place.

STEP 3

Cut your pieces, unpin, and set aside.

STEP 4

Fold the Band with right sides facing together and raw edges touching and pin or clip together. Using a ¼ " seam allowance, close the opening. Using a warm iron, press the seam.

STEP 5

Fold the hat band in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and raw edges touching. Using your warm iron, press all the way around.
