How to make a Button Hole

Sewing a Button hole will make you feel like you can sew anything, lets get started on How to make a Button hole.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

STEP 1

Follow our button hole guide or consult your sewing machine owner’s manual

STEP 2

Load your machine with top and bobbin thread and get your button hole foot.

STEP 3

locate the button hole stitch on your machine

STEP 4

Grab your button hole presser foot, there is a slider. Fit your button in this slot and tighten or loosen the slider to fit your button to set the size of the button hole.

STEP 5

On your fabric use chalk or laundry pen to mark the beginning and end of the button in the spot it needs to be sewn.

STEP 6

Attach your presser foot to your machine
