How To Make A Skort

The skort is a super comfy pair of shorts with an elastic waistband in the back for easy wear and all day comfort.

This is perfect for those warm weather days or you could even wear them with leggings when it gets cool.

SUPPLIES NEEDED

STEP 1

Use Pattern to cut out fabric.

STEP 2

Pin the two skirt pieces right sides together and sew two sections labelled as “hem” on the pattern piece.

STEP 3

Pin and sew your two shorts front at the crotch. Repeat for the back shorts pieces.

STEP 4

Pin the skirt and the front shorts at the waist and side seam both should be right sides facing up. When pinning ensure that the sewn seam of the skirt is pinned 3/4” away from the side seam.

STEP 5

Next,take the facing and place it wrong sides up on top of the skirt. Align it to the waist and pin. Sew through all layers.
