How To Make A Tiered Maxi Skirt With Printable Pattern

SUPPLIES NEEDED

STEP 1

Print and use free pattern to cut out fabric pieces.

STEP 2

For tier 1 fold in half right sides together and pin the short ends. Sew.

STEP 3

For tier 2 pin the two fabrics right sides together and sew at the short ends. For tier 3 pin the tiers together at the short ends and sew them together.

STEP 4

Finish all raw edges with a serger or zigzag stitch. Double fold the hem of tier 3 by ½” and sew. This will form the hem of the skirt.

STEP 5

Sew a long basting stitch around the top of tier 3.
