Start this how to sew a robe with free pattern tutorial by washing and drying your fabric. This acts as a preshrinking process so that your stitches won’t pull out the first time you wash your robe.
After you have washed your fabric, take your pattern pieces and follow your cut list above. You have pattern pieces for the front and back of the robe, the pocket, the belt loops, and the sleeves.
We will start by sewing our pockets for the robe. Find the top of your pocket. Fold all the other edges wrong sides together by 1/4”, pin or press to hold in place. For the top of your pocket fold it 1/4” and another 1” towards the wrong side.

Then, fold the belt loop in half where you folded the sides to the middle and pin in place.

Sew around the belt, leaving a 2” opening to turn the belt right side out.

You will sew these in place when you sew the side seams later.
Now we will attach the sleeves to the main body of the robe. To do this, find the center point of your sleeve pieces you cut out earlier and mark with a pin or clip.
With right sides together, align the center mark of the sleeve with the shoulder seam.
