RV Life Lately

It’s a beautiful week in Prescott Valley, AZ.  The nights are cool, and the days are warm.

Did you notice there are two dogs in the truck?  We have been casually looking for a mid-size companion for Camo since July, but with a baby on the way we decided to wait.  It turns out we have the easiest baby on the planet and can easily handle another dog.

Dogs Camo and Dottie

It’s actually less work to have two dogs rather than one because they entertain each other.  Don’t they make a cute couple?  I’m excited to have another girl in the camper.  I hope she lets me dress her up and put bows in her hair.

Dog on Dirt Road

Some folks think it’s crazy to have dogs in a RV, but I think it’s necessary.  Dogs make the best motivators to get out of the camper, exercise, and explore.  Their energy is contagious.  It does us all good to get some fresh air, including the baby.

RV Park with Kite

Plus we wouldn’t want to miss the perfect kite flying weather.

Happy Camper Baby

This bath seat (similar) makes the cutest recliner for our littlest happy camper.  He’s relaxing in the sunshine while Mom and Dad work on painting.

Camper Quilt Back

My post about our RV nursery got a lot of traffic, and a few of you asked about the reverse side of the camper quilt I made.  Well, here it is.  The fabric is from Spoonflower.  Warning:  You may spend several hours browsing all their awesome fabric choices.  Please don’t blame me.

How is your week going?

  • Hey! I just found your blog through Fulltime Families Facebook page. We have been in Camp Verde for 3 weeks and will be there for one more. Are you guys planning to be in the area all winter?

    • Hello! I’m so glad you found us. We really don’t know if we’ll be here all winter. It’s our first experience with winter in a RV. If we hate it, we can just move on! I really want to stay for some snow though.
