For both hats, pin the middle, brim, and decorative trim right sides together at the short ends. I’ve overlayed some dashes to illustrate where to sew.
Sew the middle, brim, and decorative trim pieces together with a 3/8″ seam allowance. Do this for both hats.

Pin the matching middle to the crown like the above photo.
Make sure to pin all the way around. Repeat these same steps for the other side of your reversible hat.

Pin it to the middle piece that you want the trim on aligning the hat seams. I chose to add trim to the print side of my hat and not the sold it color side. If you wanted to add trim to both sides, just repeat these steps.
Sew the trim to the hat about 1/8” from the folded edge.

Leave and mark a 2 inch opening when you are pinning the hats together. This will leave us a gap to turn the reversible bucket hat right side out in a later step.
Sew all the way around the brim through both hat layers. I kept my sewing foot lined up with the edge of the hat brim.

Assemble the hats so that they fit nicely together. Pin the opening closed, making sure to fold the raw edges in.
