Now, with right sides together, fold your fabric in half. Place your travel neck pillow pattern as indicated on the fold line. Pin it in place, and cut out the pieces for your travel neck pillow. Repeat for the other side so that you now have a front and back piece for your pillow.
After you have your fabric pieces cut out, place your travel neck pillow pieces with the right sides together. Find the middle point so you can attach the loop. Now take your ribbon and fold it in half. Place the open end of the ribbon between your pillow pieces in the center and pin into place. Pin or clip your pillow pieces together like you see above.

Now, clip notches around the curved middle “smile” and the curved bottoms of the travel neck pillow. This will help the fabric to turn easier and will help get the edges filled out when you stuff it later.
Then, turn the pillow right side out. You may need to use a pencil to smooth out the seams. We are about halfway through showing you how to sew a travel neck pillow!
Next, using a warm iron, press the pillow. This will give you crisp edges for stuffing.
