Instant pot blueberry jam is easy to make, and it only has two ingredients! There is no added sugar or anything you can’t pronounce. Put this blueberry jam on biscuits, toast, and my personal favorite, waffles. My toddler wants it for every meal.
The nicest couple has a produce stand down the road that I frequent often. They sell fresh blueberries by the bucket, and I can’t get enough. I am going to need more jars for all this jam!
Plus if you are recovering from a break-up and need a “jam plan” like Monica Geller, this is a great way to do it. Joey would definitely be licking the jar.
Instant Pot Blueberry Jam Supplies
- 1 qt Blueberries
- 1.5 c Honey
- Instant Pot
I am new to the instant pot and began by making things with minimal ingredients in case I messed it up. Turns out it is super easy to use. I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to buy one. I went with the 6 Qt. 7-in-1 instant pot because seven seems like a good number of things to learn. The 10-in-1 was intimidating. It is a great size for cooking just about anything and much less complicated than I let myself believe.
How to Make Instant Pot Blueberry Jam
Place honey in the instant pot and turn to sauté.
Heat until honey liquifies (approximately 1-2 minutes)
Add blueberries and stir to coat.
Place the lid on the instant pot, and cook on manual high pressure for two minutes.
Let the instant pot naturally release.
Press the stop button when you are able to open the lid.
Place the instant pot on sauté again for about 10 minutes. You want the water to boil off.
Your blueberry jam is ready when it is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Remove it from the instant pot and into an air tight container.
Let the jam cool completely, then store it in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
