We are bringing you something new! I love all the skirts and dresses, but today we are bringing you this Free Women’s Jumpsuit Pattern & Sewing Tutorial! How cute is this?! I love jumpsuits. When my sewing friend, Debbie, showed me this pattern, I knew I had to make this. You can make this for a fraction of what they can cost in-store and this one will fit perfectly thanks to the included free pattern. Jumpsuits look great no matter your shape. I love wearing jumpsuits. They are perfect when I am lounging around the house or even when I need to run some errands around town. They are easy to dress up for a night out as well. I used a solid color fabric, but you could use a cute print fabric to really make yours pop! This fun sewing project is a great project for someone who wants to make something besides cute tops and skirts. Don’t get me wrong, I love them all, but there is something about this jumpsuit pattern that I just love. I recommend something with a 50% 4-way stretch so you’ll be comfortable in your jumpsuit all day long.

This one-piece is a perfect layering piece and will take you through seasonal changes. I like to layer this with a cardigan when the weather gets chilly So pick out your fabric and let’s get started!

Before printing check that your printer is set to No scaling or Actual size. Set the Page orientation to Auto or Portrait. And then print page 1. Measure the 2” test square to see if it measures exactly 2”. If it does, print the remaining pages.

Trimming Pages

Cut off the right and top margins of each printed page before assembling the pattern. You can use tape or school glue to adhere your paper pattern together.

Start this free women’s jumpsuit pattern sewing tutorial by washing and drying your fabric. This helps preshrink your fabric and prepares it for washing later so that your stitches don’t pull out or fray the first time you wash it. Plus, it helps make the fabric super soft. Once you have done this, use your pattern to cut out your fabric pieces.
